Introduction
Biotech Personnel
is a Human Resources consultancy business set up in 1996 by Rod Cook BSc FCIPD.
Areas of specialisation include:
• Start-up assistance, especially in the health care
sector
• Recruitment
• Reward management
• Policy and procedures
• Culture change programmes
Also available are associates in the fields of recruitment
advertising, occupational psychology, additional training and employment law.
Rod has over 30ears' experience working in a variety of
high technology companies. His last company role was as Head of Personnel for
British Biotech, where he helped grow a staff from 90, in a private company
to over 330 in a potentially leading bio-pharmaceutical employer.
Since the formation of Biotech Personnel a substantial
client base has been established with assignments varying from Board level
remuneration advice to a total interim HR service. He has helped over 40 start ups get
established.
What is not offered
Headhunting, as this possibly conflicts with clients’
interests. This can be arranged though a recommended
partner if necessary.
Recycling – the regurgitation of previous work for a
full fee
Taking of commission – no vested interest will be
involved when recommending other service providers
NB. The consultancy is named Biotech Personnel to reflect
the core business area. Customers from other sectors are also welcome and
several are reflected in the client list.
